NCAA Announces Hosts for Future Championships

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA announced the final host sites for 86 of the 90 championships for the 2022-2023 through 2025-2026 seasons after receiving more than 3,000 bid applications for future NCAA championship hosting opportunities. Seven different cities throughout the state of Indiana were selected to host 22 of these championships.

Team Indiana Awards Three Grants to Partner Communities

INDIANAPOLIS – Team Indiana awarded three grants to sports destination partners throughout the state. The Team Indiana partners include Hamilton County Sports Authority, Visit Fort Wayne, and Visit South Bend Mishawaka, each using grants to host events ranging from late July to early August.

Announcing Team Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Sports Corp assumes leadership of Sports Indiana, the not-for-profit state association for sports tourism representatives throughout the state of Indiana. All former members of Sports Indiana are now represented through the formation of Team Indiana, with operational and financial management run by Indiana Sports Corp. Team Indiana members represent more than 20 destinations in Indiana as well as rights holders who host events in their communities.

2019 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament All-Session Tickets On Sale Saturday, Oct. 20

ROSEMONT, Ill.All-session tickets for the 26th edition of the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. (ET) Saturday, Oct. 20. Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, home of the WNBA’s Indiana Fever and NBA’s Indiana Pacers, will once again play host to this year’s tournament from March 6-10, marking the 22nd time the tournament will be played in the Circle City.

Slate of 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series Events Announced

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Swimmers from around the globe will be making five stops in the United States next year on the newly unveiled 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series competition calendar. Part of the USA Swimming Championship Series, the events will travel coast to coast, stopping in Knoxville, Tenn., Des Moines, Iowa, Richmond, Va. and Bloomington, Ind. between January and June 2019. The June 2019 event location will be announced at a later date.

Andy Roddick Named Recipient of Indiana Sports Corp’s 2018 Pathfinder Award

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Sports Corp will present the 2018 Pathfinder Award to former No. 1 professional tennis player Andy Roddick. The Pathfinder Award, presented annually since 1988 by Indiana Sports Corp, honors individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of America’s youth. This champion for America’s youth will be recognized at the Indiana Roof Ballroom during a luncheon on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.

Indianapolis to host 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Diving

INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis will host three USA Diving events at the newly renovated IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI from 2019-2021 headlined by the return of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Diving in 2020. Indiana Sports Corp and IUPUI announced today that they were awarded the esteemed events by USA Diving and the United States Olympic Committee.
